Almerimar is located on the A-7 motorway which spans the Costa del Sol and Costa de Almeria regions. There are lots of places to visit if you fancy a change of scenery and most are easily reachable from the A-7 which is a free running and quiet motorway. We would highly recommend a visit to Granada to see the Alhambra Palace and to see the beautiful cobbled streets, Granada is truly a beautiful place not to be missed. Granada can be reached
in 1 hour and 30 minutes from Almerimar by car. We would also recommend a visit to Nerja, Nerja is a tourist resort popular with the English and can be reached in an 1 hour and 17 minutes, again via the A-7. Nerja has some amazing beaches that are well worth a visit.
